Choose QC from the New Graph submenu (Graph menu).

Choose the type of QC graph you want to create from the Type pop-up menu in the Quality Control Graph dialog.

Select row numbers or a column of data for the Subgroup Identifier option.

For X-Bar R and X-Bar s graphs, select row numbers and/or two or more columns of data for the Measured Values option. (Measured values are the plotted data points in a QC graph.)
• For p, np, u, and c graphs, select a single series.
Step 5
For p np, u, and c graphs, select Constant Subgroup, or one column of data for the Subgroup Sizes option.
Step 6
If you select Constant Subgroup (Subgroup Sizes option), enter the size next to the Subgroup Size option. (The value you enter should be greater than the measured values you select in step 4.)

To use an open data window other than the one displayed, choose its name from the Data Window pop-up menu.
Step 8
To use an open graph window other than the one displayed, choose its name from the Graph Window pop-up menu.
Step 9
To apply a graph format other than the one displayed, choose its name from the Graph Format pop-up menu.
• For X-Bar R and X-Bar s graphs, choose graph formats from the Mean Format and Range Format or Standard Deviation pop-up menus.
• For p, np, u, and c graphs, choose a graph format from the Graph Format pop-up menu.
Step 10
In the Plot Range area, select the rows of data you want to graph.
Step 11
Click OK to create the new graph in the selected graph window.
Note: Two vertically-aligned graphs are created for X-Bar R and X-Bar s graphs.
